Reviews for Bulova Valeria Burl Mantel Clock - B2026 (Lawn & Patio) Loved the look of this online. A actual wooden case is what I needed because nothing seems like actual wood. Unfortunately, this timber appears nothing like real wooden! The case is additionally timber, however it is so heavily lacquered and high gloss that it appears no totally different than plastic. I comprehend that this can be a "style" of finish and the description does say "high gloss" so my unhealthy for not expecting this. But it just appears faux to me. A plastic clock would have been much cheaper.

The different issue is with the pendulum. It swings backward and forward abruptly, about three swings per 2nd. This is k but about half of the time the pendulum swings so far that it hits the metal cease which ends up in an disturbing clicking sound every 2d or so. So along with the tick tick tick of the clock, which is cool, you may just have an out of sync tap....tap....tap from the pendulum. If the sounds have been in sync, it may well be less now noticeable however the means it's rings a bell in my memory of a film where the voice is out of sync with the actor's mouth. I've tried placing the clock on quite lots of surfaces, all degree, but nothing helps.
